magic in the moonlight

This is about 3 days late but, HAPPY NEW YEAR !! :) 2011 sure did go by at the speed of light but just like every other new year, I grew up, gained new experiences, more confident and had many first times.

December 2011 wasn’t really well-spent; in terms of studies anyway. My homework isn’t completed and honestly, I ma not very worried about it. How i survived JC was that I kept telling myself I could do it; with with school work, i must still have fun and not stress up. And that worked well and I am definitely going to keep up with my good work! :)

First dec was spent with a good cause; donated blood and saved 3 lives ^^(even though i blacked out for a moment but that was definitely an experience! :) And then we went to Peranakan Museum and Henderson Waves afterwards! We were about 90m above sea level! Quite a breath-taking view, especially at night!

And from 3rd Dec alll the way to 17th Dec, I was in many states of Indonesia; Jakarta, Bandung, Yogyakarta and Pekalongan.

I guess now that I am older, I saw many more things and felt more. It’s like how when you are younger, you don’t see much and feel much because you couldn’t truly understand things yet, but now it’s different. And it definitely created new and broader perspectives for me.

Days after that passed in a blur ~~ There were movies-watching, catching up with friends, rendezvous, HC and others. And simply, my days were nights and my nights were my days.

The most memorable days of December were the last few days when I spent them with my loved ones and yes this includes staying at home and going with Mumsy to shop.

Dec 29 was spent with Zai. Headed down to Universal Studios Singapore when it was superrrrrr packed. An Express ticket would have definitely been good ~~ Nevertheless, going out with her makes me feel very young HAHA.

We rode the Mummy Ride 4 times!!!! :O But that is my most favourite ride!!!! ^^

It was scary yet fun. the Human BattleStar was super scary ohmygod. I was screaming throughout the whole ride because i felt as if i could have just died!!! The Cylon was scary as well but the harness was super secured and so I could scream and yet, enjoyed the ride ;)

The Transformers Ride was pretty cool as well! :) Shan’t spoil the ride for others who haven’t been on it yet!! :)

It’s a pity how time passed by so fast when we were at USS. Didn’t want to leave but oh wells! ):

30 Dec was spent with my favourite girlfriend, touring around Orchard and catching up. No pictures but she's this gorgeous ;)

And then came New Year's Eve and as usual, i was out and blessed with my primary school bestfriends forever :)

Had dinner at Secret Recipe at Marina Square and then we went off to Fullerton area to catch fireworks! NYE crowds were crazy, it's like seeing haf the population of Singapore at one place but i definitely felt the New year spirit! :) And coincidentally, the place at the Fullerton Bridge that we chose to stand at was right under and smacked in the middle of fireworks, which were extravagant and so beautiful!!!!!!! ): So beautiful till it almost moved me to tears. Being right under it created a 3-Dimensional effect that was really mindblowing :') I am glad to have spent NYE and celebrated the first few minutes of 2012 with these girls that have stuck with me through the thick and thin. <3
